Description:
Deeply cut leaves emerge satin-red, darkening and becoming glossy when hardened off. Intense summer heat can cause the oldest leaves to green up giving a two-toned color effect. Leaves brighten back up to red in the fall. Similar form and growth to that of Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood'.
