Description:
This lilac was selected at the Arnold Arboretum, and named after their annual event. 'Lilac Sunday' blooms from both the terminal buds as well as the lateral buds. This creates an arching, billowy plant covered in blooms from top to bottom. Thinner leaves than S. vulgaris but blossoms are just as fragrant.
