Upright, irregular habit. Buttery yellow new growth adorned with red pollen cones apears in spring atop green old growth. Lights up a garden during the day and appears to glow at night. Yellow growth fades as summer progresses so the plant blends nicely with more natural evergreens for the winter months. Discovered in the Rocky Mountains.
