Description:
Green blades with a thin white stripe; resembles all other Miscanthus until late in the summer when the blades begin turning red to burgundy starting at the tips. The color works its way back to the base of the blade as the fluffy plumes begin to emerge. Plume emergence is earlier than other Miscanthus, ensuring a great fall display for more northerly plantings with a shorter growing season.
